Based off of biroid’s requests (I apologize for taking so long!): FivexTurlough - AU. Turlough's exile is to 2007 on Earth, a modern-day school, and the Doctor somehow stumbles across him. You get my eternal love if Turlough's a little emo kid in a girls' jeans and eyeliner or something...
And
TenxTurlough - AU. Some sort of underground club on Earth, perhaps with Ten not having any idea where he is, but enjoying it anyway. Might be cool if Turlough's involved in illegal drugs, here.

Written for miss_nobody as part of a very late response to her whofest prompt. She asked for something shippy for the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa. While the first part isn't at all shippy, the story will certainly go there.

Summary: A jaunt into Regency England entangles the Doctor and Nyssa into a week of intrigue and a night of romance.

Notes: (1) For _snakeface who wanted Fitz and Charley to coincide in any circumstances. (2) Entirely plotless and calling on one of the oldest clichés in fandom (all fandoms, everywhere, I’d be surprised if any have escaped the ‘trapped in a closet/cave/lift’ cliche). (3) Doesn't require any actual book knowledge other than that Eight spends more than half the series with total amnesia.
Summary: “I’m pretty sure the vague-looking one is mine.” “You realise that doesn’t exactly narrow it down.”

Just to remind everyone that the pretty-lax-deadline-thing was August 31st: since it wasn't a set in stone deadline I'm not going to ask if people who haven't turned fics in want extensions (though I'm still writing mine so I'd have to grant one to myself right off) but if you know you're not going to get it done any time soon - say within the next few weeks - now's your chance to give up your claim so someone else can have a crack at it. At the end of this month any unwritten requests will go back to being unclaimed again.

I'm updating the list now with the stories people have turned in: if you posted a fic but didn't crosspost here, please link me to it. If there are any unclaimed requests on that list, feel free to jump in and claim one, if you reckon you can have it done by the end of this month.

Request: aervir: Some plotty gen (maybe with OT3 UST) featuring Nine, Rose and Jack in a Victorian gothic story (à la Ghost Light, Tooth and Claw, Pyramids of Mars or The Talons of Weng Chang). Or at least an atmospheric Victoriana ficlet with hints of plot.

Well, I tried. There is a hint of plot in there if you look carefully. And for atmospheric read rainy. And it is within the (extended) deadline, which must count for something.

Title: Simple Progressions

Rating: I’d almost trust my four-year-old nephew to read this. If he could read that well, that is.
Notes: asked for A/U reunion of the Doctor and Fitz, and that’s what y’all are getting. (Specific request: “I want to see a different end to the Earth Arc, please, because Escape Velocity is still IMHO far and away the worst of the EDAs. So, a different version of the meeting in St Louis: slash not essential but I'd be all over it.”) Sadly, it’s nearly as gen as gen can be, but there is still kissing and hand-holding involved. I’m so New Skool.
